The story

Trip Tick began as one birder’s frustration with juggling spreadsheets, notebooks and apps that didn’t quite fit how birders actually record. The result is a birdwatching app that logs a trip in seconds — even with no signal — and turns years of sightings into life, year, month and location totals automatically.

It’s run independently, with no investors and no ads. Premium subscriptions pay for hosting and development, and the community helps decide what gets built next.
